Apparently lots of people at Clientco complaining that some others are complete feckwits.

Bacon butty for lunch - more of that treacle smoked stuff, and soft white bread, because bacon deserves it

I had a bacon butty as well but mine was healthy as it had avocado in it.

              Afternoon all!

We heard back from the agents dealing with the project house - sadly someone else outbid us in the sealed bid auction.

That's fine, a little disappointing but it did need a lot of capital ploughing in and would have swallowed money for months to come (but worth it IMHO!).

But to cheer us up we've been out and visited three more houses over the weekend. Two were non-starters (one a complete wreck with damp issues, one just too much money for the house). Luckily one more was a character property - an old building converted - and within our price range. Mrs covbob and I both really liked it so we've phoned the agent and offered the asking price.

Now just waiting on AIP confirmation to seal things.

In some cases it will simply replace what parents would have given, so no net cost other than the inefficiency of routing the money via the government.

Adults have some control over their economic station, so socialism is more damaging when applied to them. Kids don't get to choose who they are born to, and don't have many choices to improve their lot in the short term, so socialism applied to them (whether state pocket money, state-sponsored education or state-sponsored health care) is more justifiable than for adults.
                    No thank feck.

The Wife hasn't signed any consent forms, so I doubt if she will be on series 10 of Supervet.
