in other news, lunch was a toasted sainsbury's cheesy roll with honey roast ham slices and lots of english mustard.
and a large mug of earl grey.
In the spirit of European Harmony I had Roast Chicken (English), Greek Salad (Greek, natch) and a hunk of Focaccia (Italian) washed down with a bottle of Highland Spring (Scottish).
It left me feeling pleasantly full and ever so slightly egalitarian.

Lunch was leftover frittata from last night with salad and sourdough and a glass of rose. Millie didn't want to lick my plate - that meant bending down, but she managed to eat a chew.
Vet has just phoned to say that they've spoken to Noel Fitzpatrick. If things don't improve over the weekend, that's where she's off to next.
The groomers my pooch goes to has had her dogs sent down to supervet and the procedure would have been 14k. but she had some insurance that covered it.
Not sure what level of cover we have on pooch. but I may have a look at it a little closer.
