Lunch today is sliced turkey in an oatmeal roll: the turkey because I bought some a couple of months ago so Sainsbury's churned out a voucher for bonus Nectar points if I did so again, and the roll because that's what was in the top of the freezer

Not a lot I'm able to do - we had a meeting today to put together a new risk register for the data center. Client now has several sheets of bullet points outlining the big stuff.
Unfortunately I doubt there's the will or the money to fix much of it. The most likely course of action is client's little data centre and the permies being swallowed up by the parent group. I guess that'd be the end of the contractors.
Not that that's a bad thing. Renewal time is the end of the year and I may well decide to part way with the client at that point.Comment
