The excitement here is almost palpable, The Dog (tw) is going wild.
It's the annual road sweep!

Around this time every year, the road is swept so that the MAMILS and junkies get slightly less dirt to ride on.
Tomorrow will be pot hole filling day, when the council contractors put in just enough tar to fill the holes until Monday, when they will reopen again.
Friday will be another road sweep, with a final one possibly early on Sunday morning.
