    What cheeses were they?

    Those prices look very keen

    Yum!

Cheeses - they're prepacked in little wicker baskets so you just grab whatever sounds good. I chose a very rich cheddar, a Wensleydale, and a cheddar with caramelised onion.

FFS I don't want a letter from Mrs May.

More stuff to put in the recycling.

I like a bit of Lincolnshire Poacher myself.

        Have you had that?

          Briefly.

But it wasn't joking about it when it was raining.

I don't recall having any of that - but this place is only 5 minutes away, so I might just ask them next time i'm in

Lovely stuff, and relatively local to us.

Stichelton is another excellent one from the same region if you can find it.

Yes Dave, I know Stichelton, very good, however I must admit I prefer a Colston Bassett?

Sometimes, I do always order my stuff for Christmas from Neil's Yard.

Boroughs expensive. A bit of a trek, but this is the best market in town for me.

Obviously Waitrose do a lot of them now too, at great expense.

You have to be careful with them however, Poacher has a habit of drying out quickly.
This seems to be worse when it has been packaged.
