Having forgotten that it's supposed to be fish on Good Friday, I roasted a duck - M&S have them on at £8 for Easter. Had it with all the trimmings, and very nice it was

I'm getting the hang of the new cooker - in particular, with the finer control it offers compared to the previous "180°C and that's your lot" appliance, I'm achieving some good results in the roast potato department

This evening's televisual feast was provided by "The Adventures of Robin Hood" starring Errol "In Like" Flynn, Olivia de Haviland, and Basil Rathbone, in glorious Technicolor(tm). 1938. WB.

The Dog (tw) has been walked. Bluebells are out in force in the woods (which is nice) MAMILs are out in force on the road. Why can't they stick to their natural town/city habitat, and let the countryside stay quiet, safe and litter-free?

                    Afternoon denizens

Sunny with a touch of Simpsons out there, though not notably warm

Dryish. Vaguely sunny. Not quite so cold as yesterday but definitely not warm.

Sun's out now, but it's still cold.
