Of course I have no way of knowing if the thermometer is correctly calibrated, but if it was reading low that would make the cooker even more out of whack, and it's brand new so it seems unlikely it'd be wrong by more than 20°C.

Maybe I was supposed to put it on a lower shelf. In the middle of the oven might be the right place.

Now we're having problems getting our heads around LEDs lighting up when you write zero to the pin and not lighting up when you write a 1.

        Ho hum.

I don't think anyone has had this level of lack of under2174standing in the 12 years I've been baffling them.

For the twins 15th birthday they were bought driving lessons at an airfield. My daughter is going tomorrow morning, son next Friday.

It's not my birthday, it's not Valentine's Day, it's not 14th March, it's not our wedding anniversary, but we have just taken delivery of a new mattress for the 2nd bedroom.
Should this go in the "What I'll be doing at the weekend" thread?

Parcel arrived. Food consumed. 30 mins to go and I'm free for the weekend.

                      Nearly time to go. T-20mins

then it will be time for sunglasses and a quick air con blast.

Home for 6ish and let the weekend start.
