I'm roasting the joint of pork I bought last week, forgetting I was going to my parents' for Mothers' Day (does that take an apostrophe? and if so, does it belong to all mothers?) and which I was too lazy/tired to cook in the last few days. It needs to be eaten today, and it also seems like a good way of celebrating the end of the week
The new oven is doing a great job on it, and it seems that breaking the habits of a lifetime and actually reading the cooking instructions M&S printed on the label is paying off in the crackling department
It should be finished in about fifty minutes, and the aroma of roast pork is starting to spread from the kitchen to the rest of the flatComment
