Dinner from the Chinese
The lady there has returned from her holiday in Hong Kong, so we had the usual conversation people have about holidays not being long enough, and the time going too quickly, and so on. I remembered to wish her a happy New Year, as today is it in ChineseComment

Evening folks
Just realised that it's Saturday night but I'm at home, sober, playing at feeding CovToddler's new doll (trying to gradually warm him up to the shock which will hit him in just under three months).
Luckily he's in bed now - sloe gin in hand for me but can't help wondering when I became a boring old fart. I can't remember the last time I hit the pub on a Saturday night.Comment
