They wouldn't let me in and I can't log on. I needed to be escorted to where I sit and now need to be validated and verified before I can log on.
When I arrived for my last day at ClientCorp in 2014, the team lead had gone onto their system and specified that my pass should be disabled from that date. Unfortunately, while he assumed it meant from that date in the sense of once the day was done, the system thought it meant from that date in the sense of once the day began, so I couldn't get in.
As I'd taken the pleasant route up the canal to the back entrance, I then had to walk all the way round the premises to the front, where the security folk had to get somebody to come down and confirm I was me and should be allowed in, then issue me a temporary pass for the day
Enjoy the peace and quiet and use the time to compose yourself and process the stresses of the day.
Alternatively use the time to work out how to fill a coke can with explosives such they it goes off when the ring pull is pulled. Then leave it where someone you don't like will find it.

And waddya know? I brought a brolly due to the forecast of grim weather, and it turns out it's quite nice out there, the sun having shone for a while earlier after the monsoon had passed.
And the only constructive thing I've done all day is putting my month per A4 sheet calendar together with sticky tape.
