The chicken soup - broth, really - turned out very nice, as well it should after nearly five hours of simmering

Getting foggy out
Chops are nearly ready. I'm beginning to wonder if one will be sufficient after all; they're pretty big, and thick, and there's been very little in the way of shrinkage

Well, that Chatsworth rare breed pork chop (just the one in the end) was utterly delicious
Now for a beer, and to watch episode 1 of Mr. Robot, of which I have heard good things. I watched the cold open the other night and thought it was excellent, but it quickly became apparent that the incidental music tended towards very prominent bass lines, and the might of this new subwoofer is such that I thought it unfair to inflict it on the upstairs and downstairs neighbours at past one in the morning during the work week
