Looked at some car insurance quotes - for the second time in years my current provider is cheaper."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Home!
The ClientCo chap had a chat just before - well, just as - I left. Having confirmed that I was definitely finishing on the given date and doing absolutely nothing until the New Year, he explained what I'd already pretty much gathered: they will have more work and they'd like to have me there to do it, but it's still in the planning stage, so he can't even say for sure how much or when it's likely to start, beyond some time in January, probably.
But he's OK with either trying to set things up so I can work from home a couple of days a week or, if that doesn't pan out, with planning things so I can be there on a part-time basis. So with a bit of luck we can sort something out, which will save me the trouble of looking around for a while
Now I just have to get through tomorrow, and then it's two more three-day weeks, which are a much better kind of week than the five-day onesComment
