The academic year has started, bringing with it the usual Wednesday night influx of an orchestra (or something along those lines) that rehearses somewhere nearby then comes to the pub, complete with cellos, double basses, et al.Comment

She seems to have found a good template for most of the CV. The bit she had difficulty with was remembering things that she had done. I did x without outlining that x meant dealing with Councillors or calming distressed and irate members of the public. I think I've added enough in there.
The entertaining bit was trying to drop a hint that she was female without being obvious (as pointed out by HR at another rail company that is probably enough by itself to get her an interview). So the personal statement has as a young girl and the letter has a variation of that theme.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment
