Updates from the weekend:
Carfest was excellent on Sunday. Not only was the music good, but I had an argument with The Wife (tm) . I thought I'd found my next car - a Maserati Levante, only for her to tell me that I should be buying myself a 2+2 sports car and leave her with a 4x4 (VW Tiguan is what she is happy with right now).
Updates from while I was in Japan:
Someone scraped the rear bumper of The Wife (tm)'s car on Friday while pulling out of a parking space behind her in the village. Minor damage, bumper paint should fix it. This made me annoyed.
Then, on Sunday morning I went to my car, which has been parked in the pub car park while I was away. Someone has managed to drive into the front wing of it and push it back to the wheel. I was able to pull it out enough that the car is OK to drive. This made me angry.
If you hit someone's car and do damage to it, at least own up.
BTW, the likelihood is that both cars were damaged by mountain bikers, who have no concept or concern for people who live in the country, but like to come out from their smog-filled towns to trash the countryside (and leave trash in it as well). Sorry if there are a few good mountain bikers out there, but the majority give you a bad name.
