Home, and weekend!
At 4:27, as I was just about to start packing my bag, the ClientCo team lead asked for my help sorting out some JavaScript bug that had him stumped. I'd been dreaming all day of getting straight out the door on the stroke of half four, but ended up leaving nearer twenty to five
Then the A14 signs were proclaiming delays on the final stretch before the M1. So I came off early and took the A6, which isn't too bad, but a bit stressful as I have to then get across the city. In the end the trip took about ninety minutes, which is still pretty good
Except I now have to do the shopping tomorrow. Ah well, I'll surviveComment

Dinner tonight has been the last of the steak and ale (Bishop's Finger, to be precise) casserole from Wednesday night
I'm disappointed with the current batch of Maris Pipers from M&S. I know new season spuds are tricky to make chips with at the best of times, but these really are putting up a poor showing. I'll have to see what the Sainsbury's ones are like at the moment, and meanwhile, see if these are any good for roasting. Luckily there aren't too many left
Still, they were just on the bearable side of not-very-good, and the excellent flavour of the casserole made it all worthwhile
Now to begin the weekend proper by settling down with a beer and watching some televisual entertainmentComment

Tesco Maris Pipers recommended, but they do start chitting after 5 days in the dark...I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment
