It is hard to resist the temptation to harass the agents. Especially as the loan thing is currently doing my head in.

I have always found that if the client has got news then they know where to find you!

Harassing them just cheeses them off.....

One did cheese me off recently. Zurich gig for TCS. The agent upset me by haggling on rate. Not something I am used to - last 20 years banks give agents a set margin.

I then realized it was TCS. My current gig is basically to manage TCS folks. TCS does not treat them well. I spent a lot of my time boosting their confidence.

20 years ago "Bobs" were "Bobs". The quality has improved and still getting better. The only thing they seem to lack these days is confidence. And the English(American?) is not great sometimes.

Another day helping this victims of the Montpelier loan schemes. Several email sent, 2 phone calls.

One thing that has been very nice is all the compliments I have been getting for my posts over the years.

Its amazing how saying thank you can really make a difference.

I hope you are keeping that bench warm. 6th is my last day. And with banks taking 4-8 weeks for paperwork, I am going to be spending some time in Wales.

I am thinking of using that time to :-
1. Get a HGV licence. I am only provisional.
2. Apply for fostering.
3. Look into becoming a teacher. I have a maths degree - and it seems there are not many maths teachers around.....
