Car's home, via a trip to the Amazon Locker
The past couple of years they've included a note on the MOT about the number plates delaminating, but not being bad enough to fail. This year they apparently decided enough was enough, and put two new plates on.
I should check them, really, just in case. Back in the late 1960s my dad bought a new Austin 1300 and, after a couple of months, realised that it had different numbers on front and back. When he took it back to the dealer's, they had to check the tax disc to be sure which one was correctComment

My 78L05 regulator is sweating a bit.
I suspect I'm pulling a bit more than 100mA out of it.

Little ford fiesta, different plates front and back. I got a parking ticket one morning and the reg it was given to looked wrong. I went and checked the car to find the plates different. I then went to the log book and the parking ticket was against the "wrong" plate - so I just binned it and went back to the garage where I bought it and they changed them.Comment
