          i think there will only be one / maybe two flights. First one would be myself travelling half way around the world, settling into new position.
          Then once everything seems ok - return home and take the family back with me.

          Not sure I'll be supping champagne, more Fosters or XXXX

            Sounds promising, my uncles moved out to Aus a few years back (his wife was a Pediatric Nurse so he went on her coattails) and he loves it out there, keeps trying to get me to move over but too much of a hassle with the ex and kids!

                The only potential issue is the eldest at uni. We could decide that I carry on for a while and get permanent residency then they can just pop over.

                Some tough decisions to be made if the email/call comes through
