Popped over to the under-new-management cob shop for a sausage cob.

The new management appears to be two young ladies. Sausage and bacon cobs are about the same.

I notice that, if I chose to sit in, I could get sausage chips & beans for £3.40, which seems like a bit of a bargain

They're pretty standard greasy spoon sausages - a tad peppery. OK if you're in the mood for such things

Just converted a pdf to word for a mate, using some program or other I found somewhere.

The pdf is 202k.

The word doc is 1.8M.

I saved it as rtf and it was 133M.

My original Secret Santa present turned up at last. I ordered it off Amazon, then realised it was shipping from the Far East, apparently in a rowing boat, and probably wouldn't get here in time; so I ordered something else as a backup, which came in time, and which DaveB received.

Now this first one's arrived. Thinking I might save it for next year
