That's the cupboard of doom disassembled, and the carpet beneath cleansed of evidence of rodent activity. I also took down the shelf affixed to the wall adjacent to the chimney breast earlier. With those tasks done, the way is now as clear as it needs to be to getting the first couple of bookcases up

I've also finally been able to measure it properly, and it looks like my intended arrangement (involving a narrow bookcase at 45° in the corner) will fit in with around half-a-millimetre to spare

Well, my indestructible MBP (pre-Air) is looking like it's tougher than I am. I was planning on keeping it for 6 years but I'm using it regularly working away from home and I don't think that my shoulder will survive another 2 years.

It may be time to consider passing it to Mr C and getting a new one.

There wasn't anything to cook in the fridge, and I couldn't be bothered heating up something from the freezer. So off to the chippy I went, for a steak & kidney Pukka Pie and chips

                    Morning

Does anyone know why I'm still awake?
                    I'm a smug bastard.
