Made it back from shopping before the rush hour had a chance to become a serious inconvenience

Quite a trip today, given it was just a few bits and bobs from M&S, Sainsburys, and B&Q, plus a pickup from the Amazon Locker. Headed out of town down the Fosse Way southward to start with, then skirted the city to head out on it northwards, then back through the middle again.

We still buy Peoples Friend on a weekly bass for GMIL. She's always pleased to get it and makes a point of telling us she's being getting it delivered for years.

No idea if she actually reads them. I suspect we could simply give her the same copy each week without her noticing

Despite the fact that an "Official View" is exactly what a lot of people have been calling for
