Current Apple fanboi status: as the credits start to roll on the film, I take out my iPhone and buy the TV series I want to watch next on iTunes, so it'll be ready to watch on my Apple TV once I've been to the kitchen for another drink

I've got Amazon Prime, but it only allows you to watch your purchases on one device to allow me to at least watch on either my iPad or MBP. (We still have a massive old top-of-the-range-in-1995 Toshiba telly.)
I might dump AP and go back to buying off iTunes."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Afternoon all.
Being a WozFan, I buy dvds & watch them on a 4:3 Panasonic tv that I paid £7.99 for.
In fact, the remote cost more than the tv.Comment

Just returned from a visit to ZeitPater & ZeitMater with ZeitSis, ZeitNiece, ZeitNephew, & ZeitNephew's wife.
ZeitPater still not very well but better than yesterday according to reports.
ZeitMater unsure who anyone is, apart from me & ZeitNephew.
ZeitNiece is identified as one of my cousins who is roughly 45 years her senior.
ZeitNephew's wife identified as ZeitNiece's mother. :rollinComment

The ZeitNiece has been misidentified as "Sheila" since the ZeitNephew's wedding reception in 2013.
Feck me, that's only 26 months ago.
It seems like centuries.Comment

Made the mistake of mentioning the 92lb monitor to my mother. Now being badgered with suggestions that all boil down to "It's too heavy for you, you'll have to get someone in to move it"
Not sure how they think it got in here in the first place…Comment
