I got told off when we moved, apparently 1-2 moving vans is normal double that is bad
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Those tiger-like caterpillars are back out the back

Actually, I first noticed one three or four weeks ago, but I just checked while taking out some recycling and they're still munching away

They'll be the offspring of last year's lot: http://forums.contractoruk.com/light...ml#post1975252

That's the size of my garden, but, happily, that's not my garden.

The house(s) however, are full of junk.

I've spent the afternoon faffing about painting under the sink, refitting a mesh to the airvent under the sink, screwing a junction box to the wall under the sink (definitely Part P that arrangement).

And the ZeitFiat, with new alternator has failed on blowing exhaust, lack of windscreen washer fluid, and a permanently on reversing lamp.

They can fix that lot next week.

Did I not point out that ragwort is a prescribed agricultural weed?

          and if not, why not?

          I must be slipping.

          1959 Weed Act.

          Isn't that interesting?

And it can be proscribed as well as prescribed.

I think this means you're supposed to pull it up, but I think I'd let the caterpillars do their worst before doing that.

It's the airblown seeds they're most worried about.

Nearly time to cook my tea.

Fortunately I remembered to take the fish out of the freezer this morning.

I shall go and see if my ragwort has tigers feasting upon it.
