I'm in that limbo where nobody's going to give me anything interesting to do in case I'm not here long enough to get it done, but I have to sit around looking as if I'm doing stuff for appearance's sake

Sat here looking out of the window at the ships going up and down the Solent.
MSC Aurora has just gone past on it's way to Le Havre, Chicago Express now making it's way towards Southamption.
The interesting bit is when they have to make the turn into the channel for Southmpton Water, past the Bramble Bank. Hard to port followed almost immediately by hard to starbord and an almost 180 deg turn to stay in the deep water and line up for the channel itself.
