Eldest has had her car insurance renewal. Its nearly halved and a snip at £890 / year.
I sort of wish her car hadn't passed the MOT yesterday with only £15 needing spending on it. If it needed more then we would think twice about the need for the car as she will be leaving for uni in Sept.

If she decides not to take it with her, or it turns out sho doesnt really need it you should be able to cancel the policy and get a pro-rata refund on the remaining cover period.
Worth asking the insurers ti make sure before you renew.
