I call baby bp most afternoons around 4pm. There is an unused office with good mobile reception. I am on 11th floor. There is a roof on separate part of the building above 9th floor. Yesterday while looking down I saw Herring Gulls have a couple of chicks.
Very cute.
I hope they are fully fledged before leaving the nest. Its a long drop from the nest.
Also I hope they don't clean the windows on that side of the building or the chicks are in for a shock!Comment

Some irritating bird was hammering away on the roof this morning.
Most annoying at 5 a.m.
Turned out it was eating a chick.
I found the remains on the ground as I was getting ready to go to "work".Comment

Nearly gave myself a heart attack this morning - couldn't find a copy of my scanned business records anywhere. Nothing on my secure memory stick. Nothing on the computer anywhere. Searched by filename - nothing.
And I know I've shredded the paper copies of everything going back to 2005-06 when I first started.Comment
