It seems Mrs Eek's ability to pick friends has excelled even her usual standards based on the Radio 2 folk awards.

Grey and a bit chilly today
Just dropped the Toyota off to have something done to its brakes. Not sure exactly what; when he did the MOT the other month, he said the front brakes would need some work in a month or two, so here we are. I daresay I'll find out when I receive the bill
The walk home convinced me that the best thing for my back is definitely either more walking, or less.Comment
