The Premier Inn where a load of us stayed for the Xmas do has rooms for tomorrow night at £89 pay-in-advance, £99 pay-on-arrival: Premier Inn London City (Aldgate) Hotel UK

If you select the date, tick the "Dates flexible" box and search, it'll show you availability and rates for all their Central London hotels, and some a bit further out too.

Counting House is the usual place- you can email them and ask them to reserve you a space upstairs on the balcony.
