On the plus side, at least it's not a church.
Have you abandoned the moving idea? Any idea how the people who bought the church are getting on?

And how's you? Feeling better about life?

Very occasionally, I go past the church on the train and see no sign of life - good luck to them, I say. Our surveyor reckoned in the end we could easily spend £500k on improvements and he'd still value it at £0 for a mortgage because of the ongoing costs and whether anyone would ever want to buy it. The previous owners are obviously a bit pissed off with us, because I had an email from them to say that some of the pictures on my site were their copyright and they wanted them removed at once. So I removed them, and posted a link to the originals that they would have granted permission for the auction house to use

I've had a good few days - I fully expect that things will turn to tulip at some stage, and I'll be incredibly sad again, but I'm pretty certain that I have redeemed the situation somewhat until Easter at least, and then hopefully everything will become clearer Hopefully, by the time the Christmas party comes (!!), I'll be in a position to share exactly what I'm dribbling on about in detail, but I can't at the moment. Life is moving in many different directions at the moment, and hopefully by then I'll have some idea about exactly what is going on

Weekend was very good though, so it's a smiley day today

Enjoy the wetness, wind, rain, hail & murrain of beasts.

I have that to look forward to during my endless stagger down the hill.

Just had me tea and I'm still hungry.

I'm also still p!ssed off with Mr N for eating the lemon meringue tart I was keeping for this afternoon when I got back from town.
