Sadly there's no need to search. These things simply show up uninvited in your newsfeed. Or on TPD.

            Ah.

One slight glitch for Christmas Day.

I need a cable that will go from my Pi (B+) to my CRT.

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Further to the tedious serial port problem, it turns out that the usb 2 serial thingies I've got 11 of are TTL output not RS232.

              That's 0 to 5V instead of +/- 5V.

And they seem as flakey as a piece of puff pastry.

And that's after I've spent much of the day figuring out which fecking driver to install and how to install it.

              Ho hum.

                Stone me.

Just been looking at washing machines.

                Boring.

How can a washing machine take 4 hours to complete a cycle?

One of them takes 4.5 hours.

                Amazing.

Hmm, what sort of inputs does the TV have? I don't know if you can get an adapter from HDMI to SCART or component because it's digital and they're ye olde analog. Us it as an excuse to buy a new TV

Or get Zeity to build you one

Edit: an adapter that is, not a TV
