The fortuitousness of getting to ClientCo early is negated by solid meetings till 5:30 so no chance of an early finish

Why go in early on that basis. I've told clientco that if they want meetings to 5:30 I won't accept any before 11 (and won't be in until just before then) on those days.

The fixed hours call centre on this business park plays havoc with the roads between 8:30 to 9:30 and 4:45 to 6....

Grr. I always found it far more difficult to get to sleep rather than getting up which meant that if driving (have to be up) I was in the office by 8, if staying locally leave it as late as possible hitting the office 30 seconds before the standup....
