Went shopping for some bits'n'bobs I forgot when I went shopping last night.

Largish bottles of washing up liquid were on special offer for two, so I got two.

Got home and went to put them in the cupboard in which such things reside. There, right at the front, was a bottle of the same from the last time I got two because they were on special offer

There's some very small tigers lurking near the back gate:

              They are eating your weeds!

But don't kill them. We are all gods creatures. Throw them into next door's roses.

Looks like the tigers will metamorphose into Cinnabar Moths, which are those rather pretty slate-grey-with-crimson-trim ones: Cinnabar Moths - Tyria jacobaeae - UK Safari

They're by the gate on the next side street which leads into the back of these houses where the stables were - the brick wall behind them is an old stable block on the side road which was bought at auction and mysteriously burned down on Bonfire Night a day or two later, meaning the purchaser could get planning permission to reconstruct it as offices (they were a small architectural firm) and, three or so years later, convert it into a couple of flats

I don't think anybody is interested in claiming ownership of the weeds, so they should be able to get through their lifecycle unhindered

                    Possibly time to start worrying.

ZeitMater's 6 bags of out of date self raising flour reminded me of this.

Then again, I suppose buying multiple sets of spanners from Lidl also counts.

Ever since I got one of those things that's a sponge on a handle filled with washing up liquid, I've washed most stuff with it under a running tap, and my consumption of washing up liquid seems to have dropped dramatically. I've got a feeling it was about March or April that I bought the last lot, so I'm not surprised I'd forgotten there was one left - I just assumed that after this amount of time, I must have used both
