    Bored.

    Now.

As we begin the countdown to the long tedious days of summer.

    Ho hum.

Quite a quiet morning here - I might be able to do some drivelling for once.

I picked up my racing bike from halfords last night. I had it in having major repairs for my triple. Basically all new moving parts.

I got 400 metres down the road and the front brake unit fell off! The poor girl in halfords had to spend 40 minutes trying to put it back together. And it was after her shift finished.

In the end she had to give up - and will have another go today.

I really fancy her - but I daren't make a move. I can get a woman anywhere - a good bike mechanic is like gold dust.

I do buy her chocolates - but its for the whole team.

I had to walk home afterwards - its a 45 minute walk. Which I have to repeat tonight to pick the bike up. If I can pick it up.

I got some mince and chicken on the way home - chilli con carne for dinner last night.

To fix the bike. I would be surprised if there is anyone specialist enough for a date with him
