Home! Left ClientCo earlyish because the only key holder wanted to go, so on the way back I got all my shopping done. This leaves the rest of the weekend completely free for going back to the shops to get the things I forgot todayComment

I am afraid that I have to report that although I finished a permie job last week I have now started in a new permie job.
The employment market here is small, there are some contract roles but the ones that I have seen so far have tended to be 'long-term' contracts to fill head-count rather than project focussed.
Having said that, the economy has been slow over the past few years and the employment market quite quiet, I don't think that I have seen it yet while the market has been hot, I suspect it will end up being a mad scramble under those conditions.
Which would be a case of bad timing for me because I am very happy to be working where I am now.Comment
