Didn't you say you had problems with the contract or did you sort that out in the end?

If I stick at this place then it will take me to 12 months. however there is a stack of work building up so I'd like to think I could another 6 months tagged at the end

It all turned into a bit of a debacle. Updates posted on the Public Sector Contracting thread but the tl;dr version is that a couple of hundred contractors basically refused to sign it, panic ensued and the offending contract was withdrawn. Previous version reinstated for another 3 months, possibly longer, and the Clients commercial guys are going to go away and redraft it with Capita, with input from the PCG (hopefully).

Well the invoicing numpties have sorted things out received remittance advice today to say I had been paid yesterday.

So it seems I don't have to suffer the 45 day payment terms as last weeks invoice went through in 7 days!
