              Why can't I just be left in peace and not be bothered about new gigs

              Another unsolicited approach on LinkedIn, direct with a GasCoski in Manchester, sounds good but I am just too lazy to walk away from the car crash here at the moment, good rate and on my doorstep, even if working with Eek is annoying!

                Just be thankful you're getting approached about gigs.

                I don't know how many times I get stuff from pimps "I was looking at your profile and thought you'd be suitable for a gig in London", my reply is "you were obviously not looking hard enough as you would have noticed I don't live in the bleedin' UK anymore"
