By some miracle, I managed to find yet another one in stores, which doesn't seem to work quite as well as the last one did.

Client has asked me to look at oracle to sql server conversion quote.
Figure is insanely high due to amount of manual intervention that is supposedly required.
Looking at the estimate for the manual rework of valid conversions required my only questions so far has been why on earth do you want to do that. If it works it may look crap but at least it works.
Oh and do you know what the other 14 vendors are quoting for doing similar exercises. I doubt their figure is sat at 500 man days.
