Should I be feeding the birds at this time of year? Seems to me they should be OK with insects and various fruits?

Water's always a good idea, but you should be careful they don't become too dependent on handouts, as they stop foraging and they wait for the feeders to be filled so they can feed their young.

OK, ta. Sort of what I thought. They get fed in the winter - just to top em up. I thnk its slim pickings around here, but we have got a berry-bearing bush.

Webber is going to walk anyway, shame as the cars have improved greatly this season.
