Brief update Brillo has been banned

I missed all that, just updated myself. Bizarre.

Easily done; I used to "teach" the kiddies how to terminate CAT5 at one time, the ratio of good to crap wires was not good.

I think I trimmed too much off the outer cable so the wires were moving about too much when I tried to put them into the connector. I'll give it another go tonight.

And I'll pick up an IPC punch tool from B&Q to get the other end inserted into a wall socket. I didn't have much success with the blunt side of a craft knife last night

Though it was always very good for a laugh.

I wasn't laughing much at midnight when I finally gave up. I'm just hoping the cable itself is OK - it's being plastered over today

Discovered yesterday there was a slight bijou problemette with the PIC programming thingie.

We thought it had to last until May, whereas the guy giving the course thought it should only take 4 weeks.

Oh Dear(tm).
