I tried reading Google's blurb on it but it just seemed to say: "Hey! We're Google! And Google Wave is from us! Google! So it must be GREAT! It's Google Wave and it is new NEW thing! But you can't have an account yet! That's how GREAT it is! But it's from Google! And it's GREAT! Because it's from Google!"

On the radio in the afternoons there is a feature where a particular year from history is "remembered".

Have a look at BBC Radio 7. In particular This Sceptred Isle.

It will probably start again from the beginning soon. It runs for about 2 years and covers the history of these isles in exquisite detail.
