Yesterday we bought a load of el cheapo shelving boxes to help with storing stuff in wardrobes. We bought some slightly less cheapo shelving for the office and a very expensive wall unit for the lounge and a really cool revolving rack for CDs and DVDs.

It has been about one month now and our house is finally starting to look like a home rather than a dump strewn with piles of unopened boxes and bags.

        Couldn't get to sleep.

Mrs RC wanted to get up at 6:00.

        I'm now.

That's the web cartooons read (the lastest xkcd is good).

          And breakfast eaten.

          And tablets taken.

          Now what?

              Morning all.

I actually went for a drive in my new toy yesterday.

I had a choice between an XK8 or a Fiat Seicento SX.

So, naturally, I chose the Fiat.

It's like driving a rollerskate with an engine.

Most fun I've had in years.

                  Tell me about it.

I still haven't got what passes for my house back in the dismal condition it was in prior to the plumber.

                  It's taking fecking forever.

I did some more plastering in the airing cupboard yesterday.

Having used the inspection lamp somewhat later, I can safely say that I am not a naturally skilled plastering artisan.

Next, I shall have to wall paper it (mostly to hid the crap plastering) with woodchip (simulated).

                    I've never papered anything before

But I've already mixed the paste, so I'm halfway there, right?

Hmm. Has it got a sun-roof? 'Cos the only way you'll get a shag in that is standing up.
