Downloading Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929) (update 1 of 1)...
I just realised I didn't have a virtual machine with IE 8 - only one with the Release Candidate. So I've cloned a brand new XP SP2 VM, and will now have to go through the whole Windows Update process
A brand new XP install starts up, runs, and shuts down beautifully fast. Then you install the updates and, even without any applications on there, it grinds down to a crawl again
