Either is OK - marinade (verb) is an accepted alternative to marinate (verb), as well as being marinade (noun), that in which something is marinated (or marinaded).Originally posted by voodooflux View PostSalmon and prawns for tea - I have the prawns marinading (or is it marinating?) in a sauce I concocted from various things in the cupboard and fridge. It's OK, but all the boring bits where they sit around drinking coffee and saying "So what do you miss from before" and what-have-you could come out, or at least be pruned back considerably
