A Roller? Far too rich as well by the sound of it!

Anyway, good luck. Let us know what happens when she starts rubbing down.

      ha! ha!

As for the Roller, she is probably a contractor on this board too

She was only meant to fix the water damage in me kitchen and bathroom, but she's been round the flat like a dose of salts, fixing whatever she finds! What a star! I was really embarassed when she started painting the box below my sink (covered in grime, hairs etc.) "That's men for you" she grinned, before heading off to paint the corners of my bedroom (again outside the scope of the job).

She has declined hot and cold drinks so far.

My comment related to the time of men (like yourselves) being so shocked and surprised, in a schoolboy kind of way, about women doing particular kinds of roles.

And yes, I have seen many women decorators, plumbers, mechanics etc, it's called the modern world.

              Lucy you're right.
This thread does have a Robin Askwith feel to it.

                      She's gone!

Why don't tradespeople ever accept my offer of a drink? They always do on TV. The plumber declined a cuppa the other night as well

Anyway, 10/10 for the decorator. If anyone needs a recommendation for a top quality painter in the East Midlands let me know.

I'm orf to look for a lady carpenter next
