There is a fork in the path ahead of you, NW and SW, an ordinary wooden post in the ground at the fork in the path, dense forest shrubbery around the path, and a crow sitting on a branch above you.
"You take the NW fork in the path, and come to a clearing. There is a cottage here, with white smoke coming out of the chimney, the cottage appears to me made of gingerbread, with sugar windows.
You are standing before a gate made of barley sugar. The path is lined with what appear to be glace statues of fellow travellers, young and old. There is a peanut brittle bell with a liquorice handle hanging from the gate. Exits NW, SE."
