Indeed - this edition also has their definitive solution to it in the back, plus a load of explanation about how they wrote it etc.

The reason they all have 400 entries is that the first one had 399 so they rounded it up - there is an entry that links to nothing else in there, but 400 is a much nicer number than 399.

I bought my brother a signed copy of the 25th anniversary of "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain" for Christmas.

I think it was his best present in years.

It needs a reboot - all I remember is something about a crow near the start, and little imp-type things that kept stabbing us.

It shows how old the thread is - I only had a pair of small q's in those days!

    Reboot it, then...

    You bunch of window-licking nutters.

    Not yet, not yet...

I may reset this game, if no-one objects, we were headed down a bit of a cul-de-sac, and the game map was limiting.

You come to a clearing. All is quiet... too quiet. A London bus pulls up.

    Make your choice:

    1. You get on; then get off; then get back on. [250 points if you live]
    2. You attempt to be dragged for a mile to a safer place [500 points if you live]
    3. Avoid the bus and, instead, trek across the frozen wastes of the Arctic, for piss-all sponsorship from your CUK "pals" [1000 points if you live]

I was wondering something similar recently...

He asked for a ban, but didn't get one. His profile says he was online a couple of weeks ago, but no posts.

Last I heard was a request to play a cheeky move to Baker Street in the Mornington Crescent that was being played that day.
