Leave shopping centre and head NE back towards secretary.
You walk NE, past a main road, through a ruined piazza, and to the North building. There are some hover-cranes and hover-lorries at work here, removing rubble, and the wreckage of ex-hover vehicles.

There are distant sounds of battle to the East. There is a pleased-looking secretary by the reception desk, arranging a large bouquet of flowers in a vase. Two burly looking security guards are standing by a lift.

There are large office buildings to the East and West, and some police standing by a forensics tent to the South East.

To the South West there is an upmarket shopping centre, to the South West is a bank.

    A crow circles above you.

The bank just called to apologise for transferring funds from your personal account instead of your co account - they have remedied this.

Walk in and present the secretary with the necklace while showing off your expensive watch. Say:

"So about tonight..... where would you like to go?"

The secretary is flabbergasted, and accepts the offer of an evening out, 'I'll meet you by the clock in the old town at 8pm' she smiles and looks up at you. 'Right after my weight-watchers group meeting'.

She coyly sidles around the desk and sits down. The chair creaks painfully. 'So about that appointment with the MD?' she says, eyelashes fluttering.

          Say

"Oh yes.. I supposed I had best see him even though I would much rather stay here with you. Is he available right now?"

          Check time.

You say "Oh yes.. I supposed I had best see him even though I would much rather stay here with you. Is he available right now?"

The secretary bashfully picks up the phone and mutters a few words, puts it down and huskily intones 'He'll see you now for 5 minutes - 30th floor'. The secretary giggles and looks away, admiring her new necklace.

            It is 17.10.

You are on the 30th floor of the North building, it is an open plan office, a very open plan office. Half of the floor and ceiling is missing and the wind is blowing papers everywhere. Some monkeys are busy attempting to fix network cabling and reinstalling windows XP at the remaining workstations. There is a spacious wood-panelled office on the undamaged side of the floor. You walk into the office and see an old man behind the desk, on the phone.

He ushers you in and points to a chair facing the desk. He is shouting down the phone. 'What do you mean you have nobody available? It's chaos in here - nobody knows how to get our network up and running and the boys you sent me are doing more harm than good! I'll get right back to you.'

He puts the phone down, puts on his spectacles and looks up at you. 'Take a seat young man - my daughter said you wanted to see me?'

Negotiate a B2B contract to fix his networking with a support element built in that is worth a substantial amount of money.

Also discuss other IT areas where you can provide a solution that will benefit his business.

When you have sealed the deal instantly get his network up and running again (should take no longer than 30 mins for a pro i.e. plug in the switch that had it's power cable knocked out when the side was blown off the building) and suggest he let his daughter have a couple of weeks off so she can go on holiday.

No - I'm just in the busiest week of the year so far, client gone on holiday leaving me to hold the fort. It does take a bit of doing responding to this so bear with me. Unless someone else wants to play the part of the 'computer'?
