Large tax demand from 2010
I received a brown letter today from HMRC demanding tax from 2010/2011. It seems a very large amount considering I was only using White Collar for 6 months. I am feeling duped and don't think I can trust White Collar to advise me properly (they never put anything they say in writing!)
Please can I be given access to the PM system to talk to others in the same boat?
Would be interested to hear from anyone who has been with white collar and successfully appealed their HMRC letter...Comment

Please can I have access to PM too please.
Aside IMHO: I just got my third discovery letter. The first two where "reasonable" amounts. The 2010-11 letter has a ridiculous 42k calculation which bearing in mind I was only in the scheme for 6 months for that tax year does not make sense (the other previous demands for full years had been around 20k) So I do think HMRC may be chucking out scary made up numbers as a new tactic - they have no bearing on reality.Comment

The following errors occurred with your submission
turnover has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
turnover - if you see this please can you add me to the private group? I shall keep trying the PM system.

I have upped everyone's PM storage capacity as plenty of room on the server - try him again now.Originally posted by hemnall View PostThe following errors occurred with your submission
