Up to today, the latest HMRC letters and assessments for 2008/09 which have been sent to our clients are also dated 5 March 2013, with good reason to believe that many more are yet to follow.

I am in a similar situation to others here having used Cascade/Penfolds briefly and receiving an HMRC assessment for 2008/9. Can the mods allow me permission for PM.

Just received a letter from hmrc

Just received this am a letter from hmrc regarding my 2008/2009 assessment. It s all wrong as I didnt do any assessment for that year as i was working abroad.

PM please give me rights as i need to be informed and will call cascade on Monday.

Another letter receiver

Hi, I received my HMRC letter dated 8th March, earlier this week and ended up stressing for 2 days. After investigations I contacted Premier Strategies who were another company used by Penfolds Limited/Cascade Management. They put me in touch with Kingston Smith. Cascade have engaged Kingston Smith to assist them with an appeal to HMRC. I phoned Kingston Smith who will put together an appeal letter to HMRC on my behalf. I would suggest anyone affected ring Kingston Smith as they are collating information for an apppeal to HMRC. After reading this thread today I feel a bit more relieved as I thought I was being selected by HRMC for 2008/09 tax but now realise there are many people affected. I resigned from Penfolds in 2009.

Please can you add me to the list of names to participate in the support group, PM rights.
