Same as everyone else, now have a demand for 2008/9 which I wasn't expecting
I have put some cash aside for potential 2010/11 onwards but did not expect them to go after previous tax years
Seminar on HMRC actions, EBT's and Tax Assessments/Enquiries/COP 8
I am leaving the organisation of this event to ''Desperate Dan'' but my preferences would be:
DATE AND TIME
Sunday 24 March or Sunday 7 April at 11am sharp to 3pm, which allows time for free private consultations after my talk and general Q's and A's forum
LONDON VENUE
Charing Cross Hotel, Charing Cross station
or
Cavendish Hotel, Jermyn Street, Green Park station
CONFIRMATION
DD to advise confirmation on Doodle: easy scheduling and cost of room hire, etc to be shared among participants
NOTES
I think DD might appreciate some assistance with this and we would like to see numbers increased as this will be a one-off event being held prior to HMRC further action
Hi everyone. It's quite reassuring (and scary) to see so many other people in the same boat.
I've since moved abroad (back to Australia) but thankfully (or not depending on how you look at it) I left my UK address as my brother-in-law's and such I'm still able to receive mail in the UK, despite living here in Australia.
Add me to your list of people please!
ADMIN: Can I please have PM access so that I can PM costo?
It'll take 2 weeks for HMRC to post me the required information as I don't have it to hand. By then my 5% fine will be applied. Does this mean my appeal can't be submitted?
Also, is anyone sending a reply to HMRC direct to advise that they will be appealing or are we just relying on Kingston Smith? Surely it would be better if HMRC had a record of correspondence indicating appeal from us personally as well as from KS?
